The Grand Seiko 44GS is one of their most historic models, debuting in 1967 and being the pinnacle of what Seiko calls their "Grammar of Design", a set of design principles made by Seiko designer Taro Tanaka. The 44GS wasn't the first watch to use the design language, although it is seen as the perfect example of it, inspiring basically every Grand Seiko to come after. With the inward sloping bezel and case, the case deceives the eye with a blend of sharp edges yet smooth sloping lines. It is truly a work of art. On the topic of art... look at the dial. I don't need to elaborate further.

This particular example is SGBJ235, a limited edition boutique only model that was purchased from none other than Seiko's Wako store in Ginza, Tokyo. It features the 9S86 movement, an utterly fantastic movement with a whopping 37 jewels. It is also a jump hour GMT, and if that wasn't enough it beats at 36,000 bph. It is very minimally worn, and shows barely any scratches. Comes with full box and papers.
